Service Above Self Award

Executive Director Carole Sullivan and Technical Director Jan Lavacek received the 2017-2018 “Service Above Self” Award from the Rotary Club of Galena for outstanding leadership and dedication to the ideals of Rotary.

This internationally-competitive award is the Rotary's highest honor and recognizes Rotarians who demonstrate the Rotary's motto by volunteering their time and talents to help others.

365 Impact Award

The 365 Impact Awards honor those who choose to make an effort to impact the world around them 365 days a year. It's meant for those who believe in our community and are willing to do something to make it better for everyone.

The Galena Center for the Arts received the "Organizational Impact" award from DBQ365ink for its exceptional efforts in the art community.

Jan Lavacek and Carole Sullivan accepted the award at a ceremony at the Mississippi Moon Bar in Dubuque in 2017.

Non-Profit of the Year Award

The Galena Center for the Arts was chosen as the 2021 Non-Profit of the Year by the Galena Area Chamber of Commerce.
