The unique hydrogeological karst features in Jo Daviess County will be presented in short videos and discussed in a special program hosted by The League of Women Voters of Jo Daviess County. This event will describe and show examples of the various types of karst features in the county, including crevices and caves, sinkholes, springs and ore deposits. Scientists will then be on hand to answer questions from the audience.

The event is free and open to all in the interest of education and promoting an informed citizenry.
