Kimberly Blaeser, Karen Ann Hoffman and Denise Lajimodiere will present a poetry reading and a discussion about their art, in conjunction with the gallery exhibit, Art of the Native Peoples.

They each will share tribal stories as they relate to the artwork, the symbolism and connections to myth. They create art or poetry out of an awareness, and imprint on their story or art. It is their way of seeing and being in the world. Tribal traditions will be addressed and how modern innovations are incorporated in both content and form.
