Celebrate Galena Center for the Arts at a fundraiser featuring The Jimmys Blues Band, an award-winning blues band. You won't be able to resist getting out of your seat and dancing along to the music!

The Jimmys Blues Band is comprised of seven professional musicians:

• Jimmy Voegeli on keyboards and organ
• Perry Weber on guitar
• Chris Sandoval on drums
• John Wartenweiler on bass
• plus, a three-piece horn section

In 2020, Downbeat Magazine featured The Jimmys album "Gotta Have It" on their best albums of the year list. The magazine wrote, "...the new album brims with honest feeling that stimulates the band leader's casually forceful vocals and piano work...[they are] lucky to have Perry Weber in the band; he's an exceptional guitarist who plays with an understated clarity." Brian Lee, a musician in Braille Blues Daddy, said, "[The Jimmys have]...killer horns, greasy guitars, funky keys, and a rhythm section with a heart and soul the size of Brazil."
