Held the third Thursday of each month, Songwriters Showcase features regional songwriters performing their own original music. Although the format varies a bit at times, most Thursday evenings the showcase features an individual songwriter sharing original works and the stories behind the songs.

The Songwriters Showcase series encourages the creation and performance of original music. The audience gains an opportunity to hear carefully crafted lyrics and harmonies that singers create within their own music. For the artist, the series offers a listening audience and an opportunity to try out new songs.
