Songwriter Showcase encourages the creation and sharing of original music by regional singer songwriters.

July’s featured artist, Megan Bee writes with an unquenchable wanderlust and a deep love for the land. Her music is a blend of distinctly homespun vocals, acoustic simplicity, yearning soulfulness, and winsome storytelling. She bases in the rolling hills of Athens, Ohio and draws influence from the collision of Appalachian folk and modern songwriting.

The Showcase will be held outdoors at the Galena Center for the Arts, weather permitting.

This concert is free and open to the public, donations welcomed.
