Songwriter Showcase encourages the creation and sharing of original music by regional singer songwriters.

June’s featured artist, Martin Koop remains inescapably a rust belt songwriter from the heart of it all. His songs are culled from the steel mills, corn-fields, highways, dirt roads, and fishing holes of the hardscrabble heartland.

The Showcase will be held outdoors at the Galena Center for the Arts, weather permitting.

This concert is free and open to the public, donations welcomed.
